This Privacy Policy explains how Get Perfect House, operated by Ashish Gupta, a REALTOR® registered with the Real Estate Council of Ontario (RECO) and a Sales Representative with CENTURY 21 GREEN REALTY INC., Brokerage, collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information collected through getperfecthouse.com and related services.

We are based in Ontario, Canada. We comply with the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), and Real Estate Council of Ontario (RECO) regulations governing licensed real estate professionals.

Listings viewed and listings saved (if you create a saved search)

When you message us through Facebook Messenger or other social channels

The content of your messages and any contact info you choose to share within the conversation
Your social media profile name and any public profile information visible to us

We do not collect government-issued ID numbers (SIN, driver’s licence, passport), banking information, or full credit card numbers through this website. If we need such information later in the course of a real estate transaction, it is collected through your brokerage’s secure document portal, not this site.

3. Why we collect it (purposes)

We use the personal information described above for the following purposes only:

To respond to your inquiry. If you ask about a listing, request a showing, or submit a question, we use your contact information to reply.
To provide real estate services you request. If you become a client, we use your information to identify suitable properties, prepare offers, coordinate showings, and complete the transaction in accordance with RECO regulations.
To send you market updates, listing alerts, and educational content, but only if you have given us express or implied consent under CASL. You can withdraw this consent at any time (see Section 8).
To improve our website and marketing. Aggregated and anonymized analytics help us understand which pages are useful and which need work.
To comply with our legal and regulatory obligations as a real estate licensee, including record-keeping requirements under the Real Estate Business Brokers Act, 2002 (Ontario) and anti-money-laundering rules.

We will not use your personal information for any purpose beyond the ones above without first asking you.

4. How we share or disclose your information

We share personal information only in these limited situations:

With our brokerage: CENTURY 21 GREEN REALTY INC., Brokerage, has internal access to client transaction records as required by Ontario real estate law.
With service providers we rely on to operate the website and our business, including:
- Web hosting (Bluehost / Newfold Digital)
- Email and calendar (Google Workspace)
- Customer relationship management (Follow Up Boss or equivalent CRM)
- Scheduling (Calendly)
- Marketing automation (Mailchimp or similar email platform)
- Analytics and advertising (Meta, Google. See Section 6)
Each provider is contractually obligated to use your information only for the services they provide to us.
With other licensed real estate professionals when necessary to advance a transaction in your interest (for example, sharing your offer with a seller’s agent).
With regulators or law enforcement when required by law, court order, or as part of a RECO compliance audit.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone, for any reason.

5. CREA DDF data and listing photos

The property listings displayed on this website are provided to us under licence by The Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) through its Data Distribution Facility (DDF®). Listing data and photos remain the property of the listing brokerages and CREA. Each listing on our site identifies the responsible listing brokerage in accordance with CREA technology policy.

If you are a member of the public and have concerns about a specific listing’s photo, address, or details displayed here, please contact us directly and we will investigate or escalate to the listing brokerage as appropriate.

The trademarks REALTOR®, REALTORS® and the REALTOR® logo are controlled by CREA and identify real estate professionals who are members of CREA. The trademarks MLS®, Multiple Listing Service® and the associated logos are owned by CREA and identify the quality of services provided by real estate professionals who are members of CREA.

6. Cookies, analytics, and advertising tools

Our website uses the following technologies that may collect information automatically:

WordPress and core site cookies

Standard cookies used to maintain your session, remember your form entries, and operate basic site functions.

Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager

We use Google Analytics 4 (operated by Google LLC) to understand aggregate traffic patterns. Google may set cookies and process information such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited. We have configured GA4 with IP anonymization where possible. To opt out of Google Analytics across all websites, install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Meta Pixel (Facebook Pixel)

We use the Meta Pixel (operated by Meta Platforms, Inc.) to measure the effectiveness of our Facebook and Instagram advertising, and to show our ads to people who may be interested in our real estate services. The Pixel may set cookies and collect information such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and actions taken on our site (for example, submitting a contact form). You can manage Meta’s advertising preferences and opt out of personalized ads in your Facebook Ad Preferences.

Conversion tracking and remarketing

We may use the information collected by these tools to:

Measure how visitors find and use our site
Show our ads (called “remarketing”) to past visitors when they later browse Facebook, Instagram, or partner websites
Build “lookalike” audiences of people who may be similar to our existing leads, without sharing any individual’s personal details

Managing cookies in your browser

7. How long we keep your information

Retention periods vary depending on the type of record:

General website inquiries (forms, contact requests): kept for up to 36 months from your last contact with us, then deleted or anonymized.
Active client transaction records: retained for a minimum of seven (7) years after the closing date of the transaction, as required by RECO under the Real Estate and Business Brokers Act, 2002.
Email marketing subscribers: kept while you remain subscribed and for 12 months after you unsubscribe, for record-keeping required by CASL.
Aggregated and anonymized analytics: retained indefinitely as part of historical site performance data. This information cannot be used to identify you personally.

8. Your CASL rights (Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation)

Under CASL, every commercial electronic message we send you must:

Identify the sender (Ashish Gupta, CENTURY 21 GREEN REALTY INC., Brokerage)
Include valid contact information
Provide a clear and working unsubscribe mechanism

You can unsubscribe from any marketing email at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of the email, or by emailing realtor.ashishgupta@gmail.com with “Unsubscribe” in the subject line. Once you unsubscribe, we will remove you from the marketing list within 10 business days, although a small audit record of your past consent is retained as required by CASL.

Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent us from sending you transactional or service-related messages (for example, replying to your specific question, or sending documents related to an offer you have asked us to prepare).

9. Your PIPEDA rights (access, correction, withdrawal)

Subject to certain exceptions in law, you have the right to:

Access the personal information we hold about you
Correct any inaccuracies in that information
Withdraw your consent to the use or disclosure of your information for marketing purposes (this does not apply to information we are required by law to keep, such as transaction records)
Receive an explanation of how your information is being used and to whom it has been disclosed

10. How we protect your information

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect personal information from loss, theft, and unauthorized access:

The website is served over HTTPS (encrypted) connections
Administrative access requires two-factor authentication where supported
Form submissions are stored in a database protected by access controls
Client transaction documents are stored within the brokerage’s secure document system, not on this website
Service providers are vetted for adequate security practices

No internet transmission is ever 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take all reasonable precautions and respond promptly to any potential incident.

11. Children

This website is not intended for children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through our site, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. Visitors from outside Canada

Our services are intended for residents of Ontario, Canada. If you visit our website from outside Canada, please be aware that your information may be transferred to and stored in Canada or in other countries where our service providers operate. By using our site, you consent to such transfers.
